Hello everybody,
this might be a bit unusual but maybe someone can help. I will connect this week at MUC and will have just an hour to spend to eat something on a busy day between to LH-flights airside T2 (Schengen to Schengen).
Has anybody some special suggestion what to pick maybe? I know all these places from the outside but usually I have very short connections and do other stuff. So I have no practical experiences eating there. I'm open to anything. I'm not a veggie or such. Sometimes there are people in the know that kindly share a special suggestion.
Thanks.

Take the Airbraeu. While I haven't been in the airside one yet the one outside offers great bavarian food, something you should try when in (or outside of :)) Munich. Lots of meat and carbs :)

A good option is also the self-service restaurant opposite of the "BMW Store" (I think it's BMW) on the G level. The name is actually "Allresto".
Food is quite good and service is fast and reliable. So if in a hurry, this place is always great for some quick Hofbräu Bier and Leberkäs.
Once through security, make a left turn and it is on the right side, not too far to walk.

Once through securityOP doesn't need to do that as he is on a Schengen-Schengen connection.
Can't help the OP unfortunately, I always dwell in the delights of the SEN lounge. :D (Actually, I love the Brezeln and the Leberkäs, you just can't get that in Belgium).

I know. But security is a good place to navigate from!

I suggest the Käfer restaurant near gate G18. Table service, quick and efficient. Try their carpaccio, it is fabulous!

Thanks so far, gentlemen. Tonight's the night. Will let you know what I picked.
2 more questions please: Is there any place I can get Augustiner Beer? Did anybody try the italian foodcourt downstairs especially their pasta?
Can't you enter the Busines Class Lounge as an FTL? They may not have Leberkäse, but generally some type of sausage, Brezn, and beer. And it will be fast!

Yes I can. (and might) But I wanted exactly to avoid that: Filling my stomach with that unique mixture of Gummibärchen, cookies, soup, fruit and whatever. A bit like a toddler's party menue. :D
I need more serious stuff. When I arrive late that night at my hotel everything will be closed. So the suggested bavarian speciality high carb diet might do it for me.

As my packed incoming flight was delayed (startup slot, apron parking and bus, very slow deboarding) I ended up with not much time left and went straight to the business lounge for franks/wiener with bavarian sweet mustard). Only after that I realized my outbound flight had been delayed by around 50 minutes too...
So I'll try something new the next time. Thanks to all.
BTW: Great and very kind Cityline crew on the last leg.
