Qantas Frequent Flyer - QF11 - A380 Not Scheduled From Tue 15th Dec
It seems that the A380 is not running on QF11 after Tuesday 8th Dec :eek: on Tuesdays!
From Tues 15th onwards when making a booking it is back to a 747-400 on Tuesdays.
I know 2 X A380's are due in Dec for QF but these have been delayed several times so far so who knows when they will actually arrive here!
A follow on question is this still current for those that know ;)
So QF11 will be daily A380 and QF93 will be 3 x weekly A380. Can anyone guess what day QF93 will go to an additional A380? With the current specials in J, I can easily book the 747 and then be very happy when swapped to the A380 :p

Hey, that is great new!. i'm flying down on A380 in feb. 2010 to MEL, and coming back in March via SYD on 744. It will be a nice bonus for my reservation to change to A380 :)
if it is my particular flight (QF107 on a Tuesday in March), that gets swapped out from 744 to A380, how will seat assignment work? I'm on the upper deck right now. will i receive an email of aircraft change? other?

That would be great - I'm on QF 11 next summer for vacation, and was disappointed not to get the chance to try the whale!

Same question - will QF notify everyone? Does it matter that my res includes my AA # & email, rather than the info in my QFF profile?

I doubt it. I had a reservation that changed from the 380 to the 744, and back to the 380 two days before the flight and I wasn't notified either time of the aircraft change.
