Plenty of Milwaukeeans are groomed to watch for these sales. Yesterday's full-page ad in the Sunday newspaper and ads during the Packers game probably spurred more than a few website hits today.

These fares largely match what AirTran has been offering for some time now.

What I've found interesting is that, at least from MKE, the "web special" fares on FL are actually lower than what FL advertises in a lot of its fare sales. Weird. You'd think they would tout the lower fares. For instance, FL advertises its MKE-LAX nonstops for $119 each way, but in reality it's been $99 for some time now. Weird.
