need about 3,900 miles to hit PLT, but want to do it before 12/15 so I can cut the trip in half because of DBLEQM on AA.

I'm in ORD, and DEN is not far enough just barely. Anything out there?

i think that ord-sat yields about 1k bis each way + 4k eqm after double.....

also, ord-dfw via okc/stl/lit/ w/500/seg does it also or 2 ord-stl or lit etc etc.....good luck...

ORD-SAT yields ~4164 EQM after the promo. (I'm seeing one-day turnaround for ~$209 ai - even weekends.)

ORD-FLL would also get you there - I'm seeing ~$169 a/i if you could do mid-week same-day turnaround.

ORD-MCO ~$189 a/i, also mid-week

ORD-TPA ~$181 a/i, available also on weekends.

SLC and PBI are a bit more expensive

why not check out Austin for a weekend? beautiful weather here right now.

PS: if 3892mi is not enough you could make one stopover at DFW and bump the miles with the 500mi min (elites only)

thx, don't think the double on 500 segments, only on actually BIS miles..I am GLD right now, but haven't seen the bonus moved up for it, so don't want to take a chance.

looks like if I considered anywhere on the west coast, seems ABQ is the best bet.

when applicable the 500 mile minimum is taken into account when calculating BIS miles. these miles then become the basis for any other calculations (EQM, EQP, RDM). All double miles bonuses including DBLEQ are applied to the mileage earned per segment after the 500 mile minimum has been applied (if applicable).

ABQ is on the west coast? did the big one take CA and AZ, making Socorro the new Carmel? :D

well, I consider west, maybe not west coast, but it's better than going anywhere in florida.
