Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Do one need EM benefits if they fly F all the time?

There are lots of people out there fly F all the time.
what's extra on being a EM? (or MPC DM)

Do they tend to use AA/QF for better miles earn/burn?

If flying F all the time, there are only a few, somewhat insignificant, benefits for DMs (not necessarily OW-EMs):
* OW-EM: If flying on North American itinerary, a non-AA OW-SA/EM can have lounge access on F (domestic F), and can get assistance from lounge attendants in case something happens.
* OW-EM: In case F is overbooked (if it happens), CX will unlikely downgrade you.
* OW-EM: Can access any OW-operated F/J lounge (exception: AA EXP in domestic itinerary) when flying OW instead of the lounge designated by the airline (some airlines are strict on this subject).
* DM: High priority for award redemptions and waitlist.
* DM: Can take two guests (and sometimes three) into a CX lounge.
* DM: can access a CX lounge even when flying non-OW airlines.
* DM: Higher cabin and checked luggage allowances.
* DM: Calls to MPC are answered very quickly.
* DM: Other smaller items - one free change on award redemption list a tear; luggage tags, invitations to sponsored events (some for GOs, but some for DMs only), year-end gifts, ...

do DM receive better treatment on board (talking about F cabin of course) than EM/regular F passengers?

On some of my flights, DM gets their first choice of meals.

I have trouble telling how it works in F, but service seems much more even (good towards everyone, DMs or not) than in J (where, say there is significant room to notice a good flight crew bending over backwards for a DM, getting you stuff from F without asking, extra duvets, saving meals for you while you're asleep, etc....but most of these things are expected in F anyway so there's less margin for improvement).

For meal order, sometimes I'm the first to get my meal order taken, sometimes literally I'm the last, despite being DM and on a paid ticket. I have noticed though, very unscientifically, that if I'm not paid and am op-up instead I get last meal choice. But that could just me paying attention more as op-up. I don't think I can recall getting FIRST meal choice as an op-up, to put it better. But I haven't really been keeping count

I think the biggest benefit of DM even if you fly in F all the time, is the clearing of waitlists clearing for award tickets, upgrades and even when the cabin is fully booked...
