Does any one know how I can find out what routes the Pokemon livery plane flies? Planning a trip to Japan with my Pokemon-mad daughter this coming spring ... also, is anyone familiar with the rumored Poke-hotel which ANA supposedly operates, or is that an urban myth?

I don't think NH has pokemon schedules anymore, as I can't see them listed in the domestic timetable anymore, although I am not 100% sure though.

Unlike in the past pokemon schemes, they are now just put randomly on flights that operate by 744D, such as HND-CTS and HND-OKA.

ITM used to be a hot spot but the airport itself had banned any 4 engines planes due to noise level.

X2. The Pokemon jet is a high density 747 operated on domestic routes. You could call res to find out but it's luck of the draw!

Follow the link above and you will see that the aircraft is scheduled on the Haneda/Sapporo/Naha routes in November and December on the following days:
11/1,3,7,8,14,15,21,22,23,28,29
12/5,6,12,13,20,26,27,28

on these flights
NH 123, 126, 71, 74.

The plane might also be on other runs but is not specifically scheduled. It often is seen on the FUK route too.....

Schedule will be further revised as the schedule advances towards spring!

Nice guessing but not correct ! It is specifically scheduled on 2 routes.

Thanks Q Shoe Guy - any chance there is a link to the English site for the route? My Japanese is pretty well non-existant! There doesn't seem to be a search function on the English version of the ANA site...

I haven't found the same info in English but you might try the www.ana.co.jp site and check "English" and then do a search. :)

What else do you need to know ? Q Shoe Guy basically summarize what is in the page in post #4.

Flight available mostly weekends
11/14,15,21,22,23,28,29
12/5,6,12,13,20,26,27,28

No schedule yet from January.

Base on 28 days advance purchase
HND-CTS
December: 11,300 Yen-28,000 Yen
January: 10,500 Yen-19,200 Yen

Base on 45 days purchase

Thanks Q Shoe Guy - I cannot seem to find a search function on the English version of the site. At least I can use the Japanese link you provided and get some help from Japanese-speaking colleagues. Much appreciated.

ORDnHKG - since I'm not travelling until March, I was looking for the English version so I could check up on the spring schedule without having to inconvenience others. Thanks for the additional info, though.

As usual - the FT community comes through!

I still can't believe I happened to fly on the Pokemon jet from HND-OKA in February 2008. Was pretty amusing.

Well right now they only have the schedule up until end of December.
