Qantas Frequent Flyer - Qantas staff travel on Asiana

Hi folks :p
What is the eligibility of Qantas staff beneficiaries to travel SYDNEY-SEOUL on Asiana. Qantas codeshares that flight with Asiana . I've tried calling both airlines but alas, it's next to impossible to get the info from the horses mouth !! :rolleyes:. Asiana don't seem to know and Qantas don't have a definitive answer !.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

I suspect this is one that QF might not want in the public arena, but we are still interested all the same!

FLYERTALK is not the place to discuss airline staff travel. There are numerous other forums for this, and if you don't have access to the info, then you're not entitled for ID travel.

There are people who travel as friends or nominees of actual staff and who do not have access to the forums you aver to so I do not see why the high handed attitude. These people are flyers just like the rest of us and still have issues that are generally discussed here.

One might raise the age old saying here "If you have to ask you can't afford".

Qantas staff travel policy actually states that all staff travel are to be handled by staff who would have access to the staff travel website and hotline so instead of discussing it through the forums one should contact the staff member where the travel benefit sits with to organise/raise the query.

In any case, I'm actually sorry that I posted this or that I joined this hostile forum in the first place. I was just looking to get a quick answer from some "experts", as airline staff travel departments are often very busy and you have to stay on the phone for long time to get through. However, I should imagine that I will in due time get the answer to this not too preplexing question , and I'll PM you Lonely Flyer, just for the record
