Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Posting miles on K upgrade to Biz

Flew CDG-HKG on friday and used miles to upgrade (at the airport) from a paid K fare. As of monday pm, the miles for the K fare have not shown on the account. Ticket was purchased from CX office in Paris. As the miles are needed to upgrade the return segment in a couple of days, this is worrisome. Is that common at CX to take several days. The booking does show that the flight was in U class and the 4OK miles have been deducted. Or is it because the system confuses this with an award in Biz?
Thanks for the assistance (phone line has put me on wait for long time with no answer).

Yes, it is common for flights taken at CX outports (i.e. boarding outside HKG) to take a couple of days to show up on your MPC account.
Normally a flight taken on Friday from CDG wouldn't show up before Monday for sure, but a wait until Tuesday or Wednesday would be nothing to worry about either.

All my miles show up after 3 days of actual flying (I do North American to Asia flights), so I would suspect it to be around the same.
By the way I have noticed that miles tend not to post on the weekend. Probably due to system batch jobs. So your flight from CDG would have left Saturday HK time, and I would expect it to then post on the following Monday evening around midnight. I would expect they are in your account now.

On last Friday, I flew NRT-HKG, it credited on Sunday.

In most cases, they take two days.
In our experience, CX is never confused about upgraded U or full redemption you. So far, we received the correct mileage every time within two days.
If your flight departed CDG on Friday, I would expect mileage posted Monday morning (HK time). Have you received your miles yet?

This is wednesday morning and no miles posted. Quite ennoying to use for return upgrade later in the week.

If you read CX carefully you will know they say give them time for mileage posting. 2-3 days is just our common experience, but that doesn't mean CX guarantees miles will be posted in 2-3 days.
However, if I were you I would login to CX website, login your MPC account, and file a missing miles request. This way they will probably take your transactions out of the batch and make a special process to run your miles. I know this request also comes with a disclaimer that claims give them 4-6 weeks, but again my experience says it's 2-3 days after the request that they update the miles.

Or you can just call MPO or AM and they will put the miles up instantly!

Had to call MPC and they added the miles instantly with profuse apologies. I really liked the way the (French) agent handled the situation. On many airlines (especially AF) you feel that you are begging for a favor and tend to be treated as if you were a cheat. With CX, immediate service and profuse apologies: great!

Dear Sir

This is to let you know that your missing mileage request of the above flights is currently being processed. Should your request be deemed eligible for mileage credit, the activities will be credited to your account approximately six to eight weeks. If deemed otherwise, you will be notified by writing.
Kind regards

We were talking about CX/KA flights. A non-CX/KA flight would take substentially longer, of course.
