Hilton HHonors - Hilton Los Cabos Paid Upgrades

Just booked a long awaited week stay at the Hilton Los Cabos for the week between Christmas and New Years. As a Diamond I have often received some wonderful upgrades but understand this isn't always possible during holiday periods.

But this is the first time I have been "invited" to request a paid upgrade with a menu of choices.

How does affect my chances for a free upgrades? Has anyone else taken them up on thisd offer?

Any other suggestions regarding this resort woud be appreciated and if someone has the name of the current GM, maybe I can email them with this question.

Will be curious to see what others say. Looks like a great place, upgrade or not!!!

I was there this past February and purposely didn't purchase any upgrades in hopes of receiving free upgrades. That didn't happen and the hotel wasn't full. After talking with others at the hotel, it is extremely popular with HHonors members using points as it is one of the nicest non WA hotels in the system. I suspect there is much competition for the free upgrades so you're not guaranteed you'll get them when you arrive.

Have a great time! The resort is perfect.
