I am booked on a YVR-LAS next week but will likely be at the airport early enough to take a YVR-PHX-LAS flight that will get me to Vegas a couple hours early. Is it possible to switch from the non-stop to a connection under the Move Up program?

I've done it, so it's definitely possible. But when I did it, the TA had to get on the phone to make it happen. So I can't guarantee that they'll do the same for you.

I'm curious about other FT'ers experiences doing this.

I think they have to be able to confirm seats on both segments to do it, but if seats are available it shouldn't be a problem.

Just curious, tommyleo, on the second segment did you end up in one of the seats normally blocked until under airport control? That could explain the phone call.

I've also done this, a couple of times. I do seem to recall an issue once that required some additional help... if I remember correctly, it was because I had gotten an upgrade to FC on the original direct, but no FC was available on one of the connecting segments (single class flight).
