At least I took advantage of USAir's instant Silver Preferred, so I got to pick emergency exit seats...

Now how crazy am I?

After an upcoming trip, I'll have used all my vacation days for the year. If I had any left, I would love to do what you're doing and embark on some mid-week MRs (which tend to be cheaper than weekend ones).

So you're not crazy -- well, at least not to most people here. ;)

daveto....it might help others if you post the cost.....if its what you want, you aren't crazy....good luck...

With the flight from YYZ-USA and back being half the cost, it is about $900 for a bit over 20K miles.

If anyone is in CLT or PHL (or the end points) drop me a PM and I'd love to get some human interaction :) otherwise it's just movies and computer games while I wait :)

Just curious, if this is an MR, why didnt you start your trip in BUF?

Its 3 days = $24 parking.... surely the savings must be significant over YYZ on a domestic trip

In retrospect, from a pure cost standpoint I probably should have...but it's a 2+ hour drive, plus border crossings, and I wanted to be able to crash after the 3 days in a plane without having to deal with the drive.
