Hilton HHonors - I'm a Diamond, spouse provides points for our stay and???

The usual mea culpa that I tried several searches for this using what I thought were the key terms without finding anything:

If we book an award stay for the two of us using my spouse's points, can this be done in my name so that the hotel treats us based on my Diamond status versus her Silver status? In a comparable airline situation where I have some status and she doesn't, I can make the reservation in my name using her points and receive the benefits for both of us so I hope this is the case here. Thanks in advance.

You'll be fine. Benefits are based on the status of people who stay, without reference to where the points come from.

Make sure your name is on the award certificate and the reservation.

yeah, but call it in such that they take her points, but link your HH number to the reservation; otherwise you might find out @ the hotel that all upgraded rooms are gone.
