bmi diamond club - SN are now bmi partners
Hello Everybody,
according to this:
http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-zz/diamond-club/diamond-club/how-to-earn-miles/other-airline-partners.aspx
SN are now bmi partners. When flying with them we will earn status miles as well as destinations miles. We cannot use miles on SN flights...
BD also recognize CO as their *A partner as can be seen over here: http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-zz/diamond-club/diamond-club/how-to-earn-miles/star-alliance-member-airlines.aspx
We dont know yet how many miles we will earn when flying with CO, SN and JJ. :td:
Excellent I've got a flight booked on the 15th Nov with them, so I assume I'll get both status and destination miles. Wonder how long they will take to post :p

This is just so BD, first off the ""other airlines table" is slightly odd as it says Star Alliance airlines at the top, while none of the ones listed (bmibaby, Virgin and Brussels etc.) are *A. I seriously doubt that you will earn status miles on SN until they join *A. This would be quiet a departure from previous practice unless LH are ushering in some changes here....
And then they add CO correctly to the *A listing but don't update the earning chart, same applies to SN actually.
Another useless web update that confuses more than actually helps....

This is so true. It's completely unclear if it refers to the codeshares UK Belgium or to the whole network of SN, not to mention the missing earning chart per booking code.
I have a return flight with SN this week, but booked on "U" and "W" for a non-UK route, this spells lost 1500 M&M miles if i try to put it on DC.
