Mileage Run Discussion - UA MR's, or mostly AA?
I'm in YVR but fly out of SEA often. I'm looking for somewhere to go anywhere in the USA and make it a 3-day weekend, but why is it that AA is always cheaper than UA? Is it because of my location for some reason? I see MR's for UA from many cities but I've noticed for SEA they're usually AA. I am *A so want UA (or CO or US Airways)
I have now found some cheap UA flights out of SEA but all are international, is AA always cheaper domestically than UA? Is this just a SEA issue?

Possibly. If this is the case, why not take advantage of earning an elite status with AA as well?It won't hurt to have a status with OW, you know.;)

Being in Canada we only have *A to travel within the country so I try and look out for other *A, plus I don't have a real need for the travel, just to get away for a long weekend so am open to destination - I figure there should be somewhere in the USA that UA is cheaper than AA out of SEA?!

Try SEA-FLL. Might also try sea-sju.

PS SEA-FLL on UA and SEA-SJU on CO

I have been exploring, that's why I asked the question. I did see the SEA-SJU which is actually quite temping, and did see just a few dates for SEA-FLL so that is now also of interest, thanks! But I was looking more local domestic (SFO, LAX, PHX, PSP) and I don't understand why AA is consistently cheaper than UA.
