1) If your flight originates in another city first?

I tried http://www.flightview.com/. If is shows no other city prior to your city on the flight number can you assume that there will be no passengers on the plane when you board. Or does WN use different flight numbers for different city pairs?

I am flying 3225 AUS - LAS on 11/1 and want to know if the flight is originating in AUS.

2) Is there any way to know load levels on the flight in advance, without waiting to get to the airport and ask the GA?

1. See http://flyerguide.com/wiki/index.php/Category:Southwest_Rapid_Rewards#When_there_is_a_f light_delay.2C_the_departure_status_rarely_lists_t he_delay_before_I_leave_for_the_airport._How_can_I _better_determine_whether_my_flight_will_actually_ be_delayed.3F_Also.2C_how_can_I_determine_the_inte rmediate_stops_of_a_particular_flight.3F If the link doesn't work, it's from the Wiki FAQ linked from the top of this forum, section 6.1.4. Based on the PDF schedule from the Southwest site, I find that flight originating at AUS. It would not take thru pax unless the flight number were the same.

2. Basically, you can only see if you can book 8 passengers on that flight.
