Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Does LH release more award seats for its members?

I was looking in LH for some LX flights in the christmas period and saw much more availability for LX flights than what I saw on AC. Does LH release much more availability for its members?

They officially do for HONs. And they have of course premium awards for lowly SENs as well ... so the shortened answer would be: sure.

Now for the lower redemption levels they also allow their elites (I mean as low as SEN) to waitlist awards which gives them an edge as IM can decide pro or against it.

In the case of LX however, their IT is just messed up big time. They consistently show award availability much greater than what the *A partners can see (and the ANA tool can't see it at all IIRC). So I am not sure if it is a great benefit or just a plain malfunction.
