Just was checking availability and saw that they is operating a 77w on some days all the way to EWR in Dec and on some days 77w BRU-EWR-BRU, with BRU-BOM using A332...

Interesting as they are only selling the Y and C cabin, although they have the F seats on board...

Is it this one?: Jet Airways Boeing 777-35R ER N834BA (VT-JEL) (msn 36563)

Edited to Add: Starting BOM-BRU on 21 Nov 2009. (*and* onward to EWR!)

Edited to Add 2[/U]: Thank goodness - bigger toilets! ^, but I do enjoy A332 in a way, but the last trip in the front cabin wasn't that great.

Good to hear that. I suppose it is only the BOM-BRU-EWR that has this. I spoke to someone in 9W, and the obvious piece of info was that because of booking issues on varying classes, F is likely to NOT be offered for some time. However, Gold and Plat (and higher fare classes within them) booked in C may be offered a seat upgrade, but service won't be F, only C.

(and higher fare classes within them)This is not good for me! :p

But you're plat, so i suppose *some* priority is deserved.

But there aren't all that many, in Premiere...With the new JP program, if you fly Premiere internationally, *very* easy to obtain! :td:

Us domestic flyers who qualified by segments in Y got *totally*, *totally* screwed by Jet - even the Konnect/Lite segments were retroactively credited to cheapos!

If the 77W is scheduled for EWR, this means that one of the regional routes could be upgraded to the A332 that is spare from the EWR route....

....logic says that it could be one of the BOM-Saudi/DXB but i would go for one of the BOM-BKKs....

....TG recently put a 747 back on the BKK-BOM route so this way Jet can compete and offer more seats from LHR-BKK or NA/BRU-BKK and a very good competitor to the arabs and thai airways in the premium leisure traveller market.

Intl to Intl is fairly easy at BOM, its a smallish (compared to equivalent airports) terminal and no need for the famous intra terminal transfer bus.

Time to ramp up the connection market in time for the thai holiday period for dec-mar.

Go on Jet, Be Brave!

Go on Jet, Be Brave!Maybe BKK, but it purely depends on loads...

I could venture DEL-SIN, but don't know how that route is doing...

TG used to have 2 flights a day BOM-BKK, but now not sure if both have been merged to 744, due to airport construction??

Also, F being sold all the way to EWR as well! ^

I guess I caught them as they were filing the flights with this a/c! :p

time to restart BOM-PVG-SFO as well and then sell 9W only RTW fares similar to what SQ do with their RTW fares! :)

Yes i know its rather optimistic but i can live in hope!!!

How can you tell which seat is taking in Biz. I am trying to figure that out via KVS for 9W. It states it doesnt support it..Any other way to find out which seat are open to select or do we have to wait after buying the ticket to choose the seat ?

Thanks

Thankswww.jetairways.com (try the mainline route on 9w metal and click the flight number to see which aircraft is being used, then report here and we can direct you to www.seatexpert.com or the other site - I forget which one! :p) or call reservations...KVS doesn't support 9w seatmaps.

Which route are you asking about, specifically?

BRU-BOM? (I remember you might have posted elsewhere about something similar)

Coming in from GOT sooo the route will be BRU-EWR which is 777w. I've seen seatguru and seatexpert . I guess I need to call to find out which seats are taken and or blocked
Thanks SuperFly ;)
