With the new flight schedules and reductions (looking ahead into mid Jan and Feb when they are in effect) does it honestly seem that US is getting hard to choose to fly? Looking at my usual routes, the cuts are getting to the point of extremely inconvenient to the point of possibly can not fly, from three years ago of basically perfect (i.e. double to triple the amount of time in the air and flight segements compared to other carriers). Is anyone else looking at this with concern to their future flights?

(I know flight reductions/schedules can still change...and hopefully will see more frequences. And I understand the economic situation. And please know I am not bashng US, I am VERY loyal to US - fly them exclusively regardless of their price in the market. But honestly schedules and lack of flights can make me think twice)

For those in the affected cities, or who thavel frequently to those affected cities, it can be make or break. US flights from LAS to many places east of the Ohio river will require double connections, US flights from NYC to many parts of the northeast will require connections, etc.

Welcome to the PIT world, circa several years ago. I dropped from 10 years at CP to Silver, only back to PLT this year as I'm heading to BOS. I may soon be doing EWR trips, which could mean another stretch to get to Silver next year and re-upping my CO status.
