A couple of weeks ago I wrote that B of A moved my closing date a week forward, causing my companion ticket to go from $50 to $99 because of the October 1 change.
Yesterday I received via snail mail my congratulations from AS for my renewal. The letter and coupon that came stated that I received a $50 companion ticket. However, the website shows I have a $99 companion ticket.
I'm ready to book a flight, but am now confused. If I book via the web, I'll pay $99. If I call and they honor the $50 voucher, it'll cost me for booking over the phone.
I'm guessing they didn't get rid of the old literature before sending me the snail mail voucher, but now they've got me wondering if indeed I should have access to the better deal. Any thoughts?
