Hello=)
I have checked Brussels Airport, map. I cant see gates A.01- A28, why? and one question more how long is the transfer time to non schengen terminal to schengen. Note that i have got a EU pass( Swedish)
The airport is a bit different than we expected from the map. We made a connection in both directions in October between the two terminals (Non-Shengen to Shengen and vice versa). It was rather a long haul but efficient at all points, including security--which you have to pass through if moving between terminals (you don't need a boarding pass to go through security, which surprised us). We had two hours each time and made the connections easily, including obtaining boarding passes on site. We even had time for breakfast.
Signs directing passengers between terminals were clearly marked. But otherwise, we found the directional signs in BRU rather deficient--for example, in one terminal the signs for gates were misleading and would send one in circles but not to the gates.
Something that we would not have known without stopping a kind, helpful airline worker was that we needed to go to a central check-in area on the same floor but well apart from and completely out of sight of the gates to get boarding passes. It was not marked--we would never have found it on our own. (Obviously not a problem if you already have boarding passes, but because of code-share flights we had to get boarding passes from SN at BRU.)
