JetBlue TrueBlue - I Have 54 TrueBlue Miles need to fly Tomorrow Can I Buy Miles and Fly Tomorrow

I am travling to Seattle, Wa from Boston, Ma This Sunday or Monday and return Friday, I have 54 Tureblue Miles what should I do, becasue I see Blackout date, and i dont want to purchase 50 Trueblue miles for $250 for nothing. thanks

When I bought points earlier this week they were instantly deposited to my account. Your bigger questions is, are there award seats available on the flights you want to take?

The official policy is that they can take a few days to appear in your account ("Please allow 72 hours for the points to post to your account."). That makes buying them now for a flight tomorrow a bit risky. It might be instant but if it isn't - and you're on the weekend so who knows - you have no recourse.

The good news is that there are reward seats available on Sunday for the outbound and Friday for the return on the non-stop flights. But it is a big risk to go for the points redemption approach.

You could buy the points and if they don't post until early in the week hope for getting the return trip still on the TB Pass and have a one-way pass still available for a full year but that is basically paying $250 now for a one-way later which probably isn't a great value.

do you know if I buy on the weekend points will post on the weekend

I bought points at about 8pm on a weekday, near the end of the promotion, to top up to an award.
I got emails both for the initial transfer, and then, 3 hours and 16 minutes later. about the award itself. I cannot tell if the award was processed sooner than that, or if it took 3 hours and 16 minutes to process the award, but I would assume that this time would be the upper bound -- I see no reason why this wouldn't be processed in the same way on a weekend, and possibly faster if there are fewer transactions then.
