A friend of mine recently flew AUS-SEA and said they had dvd players for rent on the flight. Do they offer these on AUS-SJC?

Also noticed that my upcoming Nov 6 outbound and Nov 9 inbound are different seat configurations, different planes on different days?

Thanks!

Yes your flight on Nov 6 is a 737-800 which seats 16 first 141 coach. And your flight on Nov 8 is a 737-700 which seats 12 first 112 coach.

I though tmaybe because it was going to two a day but that is not until march 2010. Is it becasue its more seasonal or are the loads just extra light?

Wait, does this mean that there are no DigEplayers on the 737-700?

Does that mean that there won't be any DigEplayers on the new PDX-ORD service?

There are Dig-e-players on the 73G... don't worry about that... :p

Its primarily route dependent - and things do happen

Was wondering this as well... was thinking when AUS-SJC came online they might go to 73G... but a 73G on both- wonder if it is a seasonal fluctuation (like ANC-ORD is)

I would think the lack of digEplayers on this route is bacause AS assumed most people would have laptops and/or some other form of personal IFE.

So they just need wifi and they'd be set

Yes to seasonality, but once we go to 2x it will probably stay on the 73G until it matures a bit. Remember, the flight originates and terminates in PDX so it's capacity rightsizing for both legs, not just SJC-AUS.

What I guessed....

Guess its nice for AS to have the 73G on the leaner routes ^ (and forgot about the PDX-SJC tag too :o)

...Now about my ANC-KOA/LIH :p
