Mileage Run Discussion - Add segment/miles to DFW/LAX/ORD/FRA RT MR?

I'm new at this and looking for a quick MR that stays on AA metal for maximum DBEQM. I found DFW/LAX/ORD/FRA and back with a 3 hour turn at FRA for 772 ai and 14,600 base miles. That's not great at .05+ CPM but the schedule is good with a Saturday AM departure, return to DFW very early Monday AM and some reasonable transfer times.
I've been trying to adjust the routing to add some miles without blowing out the CPM and not having any luck. Any suggestions? Cost is my focus, not transit time.

Good question. The hard core MR'ers love to help folks who do some leg work first.
I don't have to to look for you, but have have you considered DFW-MIA-LAX-DFW/ORD-FRA?
Also, I did a positioning flight from FRA-BOS last year and wound up flying from FRA-DFW-LAS-LAX-BOS which was cheaper than flying from FRA-DFW/ORD-BOS/

I'm new at this and not including details I should be it seems, thanks for your patience. I tried MIA but it was pricing out very poorly and since LAX gave me more miles I discarded it as a good option. The fare rules on my original routing (OLW3E1C) seem to indicate it's not valid for more than 2 transfers so I think adding another ends up pushing me into a much more expensive fare. That fare code also allows for the 3 hour Sunday turn at FRA of course.
I did find an alternative fare that is cheaper and allows 3 transfers (OLWAA3D) yet I can't seem to come up with a routing that allows it.
I'm in the DFW area so routing back through DFW is most likely only going to drive up the cost I think. I'm still learning how to interpret fare rules and how they relate to routing though so I may have missed some obvious options here.

you can cut your cost and add some 1000 EQM by driving down to Austin and starting there.
this is predicated on having elite status and flying through DFW from AUS. doesn't gain much if you have no status and nothing if you go to LAX from AUS instead of DFW

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought of that (I'm PLAT) but it prices out poorly, $100 more, when I add that segment on the beginning and end. Not to mention the 3+ hour drive before and after the run.
I've dug around some more and it sure looks like adding any segments will kick me into another fare code and they are all more expensive save the one I mentioned earlier. That fare code (OLWAA3D) would seem to allow the extra transfer I think however it looks like it's sale restricted maybe?

Have you tried SFO or SEA instead of LAX. DFW-SFO is AA not an AS (LAX-SEA and SFO-SEA are AS flights) so that will be good for DBEQM.
I imagine SFO will be more likely. Its only another 400 miles but RT and DBEQM gets you another 1600 EQM.
Have you tried seeing how transfers in Europe affect the fare? Perhaps London or Madrid?

SFO was not something I'd tried. Fares were higher but thanks for the suggestion. I haven't had any luck finding any good European transfers. They may be there though, just beyond my current abilities.
