AirTran Airways A+ Rewards - OLCI for Same Day Return?

Surely someone out there has faced this situation: Can I do OLCI for a same day return on AirTran? For example, if I wait until T-24 from my return, can I check in for both a same day outbound and return at the same time? Or do I need to deal with the return at the airport? Thanks!

I have done OLCI for a same day return, no problem. But that was over two years ago, so it's possible things have changed.
