Budget Travel - Are you familiar with Ryanair? Please help

I thought i was 'familiar' with Ryanair, -i am a regular customer, however i have encountered my first issue with them... & knowing the rep of there famous customer service i dont know how to try put & it right.

Would be much appreciated if somebody here could offer me advice:

So yesterday i tried to book a one way flight to Stansted. At the final stage i received an error message. Having had this before i knew the transaction could have through and so i left it for the night. Checking back today i am very confused as to what has happened...

Firstly i received an email with baggage restictions with a confimation no. telling me the booking has went through.

I logged into 'Manage my booking' to view my flight. It showed me my iteniery but it stated the flight status was 'not confirmed' and would not be confirmed until i receive a confirmation email.

Later on i checked again and i had received a confirmation email however the financial details seemed odd:


From Glasgow (Prestwick) (PIK) to London Stansted (STN)
Sun, 08Nov09 Flight FR 416 Depart PIK at 07:45 and arrive STN at 09:00

PASSENGERS

1. MR ***** ******* ADT


PAYMENT DETAILS

********15.99 GBP Total Fare

*********0.00 GBP Taxes, Fees & Charges

********31.98 GBP Total Paid

It appears i have been charged double the amount, and the confirmation clearly states one passenger so it contridicts itself.

I logged into manage my booking again and the following 'not confirmed' msg was shown:

Booking Date Fri, Oct 30, 2009
Reservation Number ****
Status: Not Confirmed
Booking is not confirmed until you receive email itinerary

But i have received my iteniery??

Even more confusing is the finacial details on manage my booking:

Fees, Services and Travel Insurance
Total Payment Amount
Excluding handling fee 15.99 GBP


Payment 1: confirmed

It appears i have been charged twice. I called the bank and they confirmed two payments from Ryanair are pending on the account. How have they charged me twice when i did not put it through twice....

Even worst is as this flight is next week i want to have a confirmed seat/price and i dont know how i can rectufy this...

I also want my £15.99 -it is a pet hate of mine to pay for something for somebody elses mistake.

What should i do now??

Wait a few days and see if the payments resolve themselves.

Looks as if there was a glitch in Ryanair's systems and that the 2nd payment is an attempt to sort things out.

That looks likely. If it doesn't, call FR.

Their phone number is difficult to find on the website. Don't bother with the ripoff 09xxx number. Try +353 1 812 1212 (HO in Dublin).

Firstly, thanks for getting back to me.

I am going to need to contact them i think, thanks for giving me the No. Rodger -i dont think they are open until Monday unfourtunately. As my flight is next Sunday i want to get it sorted soon as possible -seats sell out on this route or the price rockets during the week before!!

I have been charged twice for this as showing online, my flight status is still showing as not confirmed(even though i have receivied the Iteniery) which makes it all the more confusing. I have just now tried to check in online and i get a message that money is still owed on the flight so i can not proceed.

....So its the phone call on Monday.
