Hyatt Gold Passport - status match

I received the trial diamond status match from hyatt, and i would like status matches with all the other hotel programs, Any advice?

Be aware that status matches are once in a lifetime. Don't get them unless you truly plan to make use of them.

Check the details for each program's match policy at this website: http://statusmatcher.com Most of the time they want you to provide a statement showing a certain number of actual stays.

presumably if you received the status match from hyatt, you already have a good amount of stays with some other hotel. just use that hotel's status to status match instead of the hyatt because you have no stays with the hyatt so far (from what i understand)

The way I read it, the OP received a "trial" (ie, FAKE) Diamond status match. The one that CSRs seemed to be giving out like candy to anybody who asked when they were supposed to only be giving out free trial PLAT!!! He probably has no credentials with other hotel programs to use for a status match.

But still it's worth a shot OP to go for a status match. Maybe if you fax them your GP Diamond card, they won't ask for proof of all the "stays" that you didn't do with Hyatt. The worst that can happen is that they deny you. The good news is that there are like 3 or 4 programs you can try this with, so your odds are pretty good. :p
