JetBlue TrueBlue - JFK-FLL-CUN - 27 minutes in FLL. Possible?

Hi all!
Just found these forums. Wondering if anyone could give me some advice.
I'm flying from New York City to Cancun on December 28th, and was looking into this flight. My big reservation, of course, is that there is only 27 minutes between connections in Fort Lauderdale. Can't predict storms and such, but this would be a perfect schedule for me.
Any feedback/suggestions?
Thanks so much!

Welcome to FlyerTalk!!!
It that a published connection from jetBlue or are you building it yourself? It is definitely tight and probably a bit of a risk - espcially while operations in FLL are split between terminals - but you'd at least be protected on the next flight if they get you there late. That next flight might not be the same day though.
I'd look for other options before going with that one.

JetBlue departs from T3 Concourse F (shared with AA). There are only r
10 gates in F, arranged in linear fashion (with even and odd-numbered gates opposite each other). So assuming an on-time arrival, it is do-able.
Two things - first, I wouls check with JetBlue to see if 27 minutes meets the MCT.
Second, if you do purchase this, select a seat as close to the airplane exit as possible.

Thanks so much for replying! If I do a search for JFK-CUN, this option appears. Does that count as a published connection? Not really sure the difference. Building myself, would that be me searching individual segments (JFK-FLL and then FLL-CUN)?
I guess I could be safer and take a JFK-MCO-CUN route, there is about an hour between the two. Just want to get there faster, and I would land at 11:30am as opposed to 10:15am. But maybe it's worth it for peace of mind?

I'd probably go this route. Much safer and more likely to connect on time, even though you get to Mexico 75 minutes later. The shorter connection probably isn't worth the stress.
