Indian media are super sensationalists. Times of India are experts in making a mountain out of a molehill!

Unless the DGCA actually investigate, i would not take the report seriously!

There must have been about a dozen near misses at BOM in the last year according to the Indian media!

There must have been about a dozen near misses at BOM in the last year according to the Indian media! There were a *few* near misses recently, but this one was a "sharing" of the taxiway, as I understood the Times of India story that I read today/yesterday.

I do not think that there was much danger, except the fact that ATC didn't realize the actual positions of the a/c on the taxiway, and directions they were heading!

yeah... article doesn't really make sense. undoubtedly some key facts are missing or wrong.Exactly, note the wording of one on runway, another on taxiway.

However, note that one does lead into the other, so collision could be possible, if either proceeded on to the other xxxway!
