Have a couple of flights coming up on VN, both departing and connecting through Ho Chi Minh City. I'm assuming the facilities are pretty basic airside, but is there anywhere for a half decent cup of coffee and a snack? Anything else noteworthy?
Thanks!
Facilities are basic. Consider buying C-class on VN (fare difference is not huge) and you will be able to use Domestic Business Lounge (actually it is an airport lounge, but it is VN branded): plenty of good Asian food, full bar, lots of nice seats. Otherwise facilities are veryyyy basic and air-con is malfunctioning.
PS. VN Domestic Business Class is very good: full hot meals (2 to choose from), full bar, nice F/A's.
Tan San airport is small but newer in its facilities. There are several eating establishments and offerig gppd pho. Rose airline lounge is excellent, not realy much to do at the airport but enjo the wonderful and friendly locals.

If you're arriving International and departing Domestic, you'll have to change terminals. It's a short 5 minute walk between them. The domestic terminal is the old one. It's facilities are pretty limited. The lounges are average, but still better than sitting out in the terminal. There's a restaurant out front that's decent (good VN coffees) and another one inside that's not as good.
