Qantas Frequent Flyer - PE in the Biz cabin - how does the service work?

I've just booked my annual US trip for January next year, going out on the 94, which is scheduled to be a 744.

The seat selections are for 29 and 30 and then some of the PE cabin as well, so I managed to snag myself a Skybed!

However given there's a bulkhead and the seats are physically in the J cabin, how does service work - do the J FA's ignore the two rows behind the galley, or once you're airborne does the boundary become a bit blurred?

If I'd paid for a J seat on that flight, I'd expect that the J service would stop at the galley. :)

These cabin redefinitions tend to utilize existing physical boundaries. This makes it fare easier for the cabin crews and how the service is done.

Aren't 29 and 30 in a special 2 row section behind the galley?

So would I, but thanks for your contribution.

Its common now for Qantas to sell that whole cabin as PE on certain routes.

Such as on QF25/26 they sell the back Business cabin on this route as PE, & when they use a 4class some lucky Business class passengers get F seats.
