bmi diamond club - Which lounge at DUB?

Am flying on a DC redemption in Biz with TK next week from Dublin and am also BD*G. Am I right in thinking I can use either the BD lounge or Anna Livia? If yes, is AL any better than BD? I was in the BD lounge last week and the food choices were terrible - either biscuits or pretzels, literally nothing else. Even a packet of crisps or a bit of cheese would have been nice...

Apparently the Anna Livia lounge is terrible, as mentioned on the AF forum, it is a set of blank walls with no real food not drinks.

You can only use the BD lounge on TK. Snacks consist of mini chocolates, crisps and biscuits.
The AL lounge (open to you if you want to part with your cash or use Priority Pass) is in fairness in a better state than the BD lounge and has a slightly better food offering: crackers, plastic cheese, scones and jam.

Then the guys on the AF forum are expecting too much... Oh wait, they're French!

Well they are opposite to each other, you can go to both...
My memory of the DUB lounges five years ago was that the EI lounge was light and airy, but had very uncomfortable hard seats, drinks but little food. The BD lounge was a small version of the standard BD lounge and dominated by a television that makes reading or work impossible. The Anna Livia Lounge had comfy sofas but inadequate lighting, some drinks and some snack food. Of the three, I would probably opt for Anna Livia because (a) it is quiet and (b) it is named after a James Joyce character.

The AL lounge gets very packed these days depending on the time of day.

I have a Priority Pass, so I get a choice of lounge - and, providing the AL is not packed (which it is mostly, due to its tiny size), I normally choose it . The bmi lounge is ever tireder looking, though is not small, as reported. It is in desperate need of a facelift - though I am hopeful that it will move to T2 when it opens next year.
Ah well, my experience was 5 years ago. We don't go to Ireland any more.

Just by way of update, today the lounge staff told me that they are not stocking any Irish newspapers due to cut backs, only newspapers left are Daily Mail (yikes), one copy of the FT and one copy of the English Times. LH supplied some German papers to the lounge.:td:
