Hi Fellas,

I am trying to find a good deal out of IAH to BOM kindly can you help

Dept : 8th jan to 11 jan
Arrival : 16 to 20th feb

IAH-BOM-IAH

My Current finds are Emirates 1069 Incl All taxes 1 Adult price

We are travelling 2 Adult 1 child 1 infant.
Dept : 10 jan Arrival 20th feb


I am confused to book my tickets please help.

Am i too early to book a ticket for jan ?
Will i get a lower price later ? Whats the probablity.
How much should i wait ?
Whats the best price you guess i can get if i wait ?

Will i get a lower price later ? Whats the probablity. NO IDEA
How much should i wait ? Pull the trigger when you are happy with the fare.
Whats the best price you guess i can get if i wait ? Dont' know this route.

its hard to say if ticket prices will go up or down. There are internet sites that can give you historical prices.
however, for early January, 1069 is a good price to India, because it is still high season.

Lets see if others chime in their views.

Jan 2nd week departure from US, it's pretty much considered 'off-season' as most schools & universities start by Jan 5. That's the reason you can't find a seat in Y from jan 2-5 from any gateway in India for a decent price. I'd say $1069 is a good price since it's from IAH. I was looking at tix for my parents from CMH and the lowest I've found is $1014 on NW/KL. I've also written to a TA in NYC and asked him to quote me emirates airlines as well. But I have yet to hear back from him!!!

This is going to be a vacation but i learnt that if i book my ticket online from emirates i get 20 % extra Miles for all the booking + i get 20 % add for booking with family.
