This is probably a dumb question for all the pros on this site, but when I book a cheap fare for a proposed mileage run, it almost always comes back as an G, Q, N or O fare (on AA). These only earn 50% EQM. How can I pay a little more and bump the fare to a H, K, L, M, W or V fare to earn 100% EQM?
Thanks in Advance, Mark.

If you're talking about flights with AA numbers, then all fare classes earn EQM at 100% (except the few exceptions that earn no miles). The 50% comes into play if you're qualifying on EQP. In that case, you can put a reservation on hold in the lower fare class, call to have it bumped to a higher fare class, and then book online. You could also just book by calling, but then you would be subject to the phone reservation fee unless you are EXP.

I do not about AA but you can start with the "flexible date" function to choose your fare on Travelocity and build your desired fare from there.

On another note, pls post in the proper forum next time! (Probably AA's forum or mileage run discussion...)
