Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - JNB/CPT - WDH SA Award Availability

Hi

Been looking for JNB/CPT - WDH award availability for next year July and there seems to be very little for star alliance redemptions! Was trying to find 3x C seats or economy but there's only one flight with availability in the span of quite a few days and there are quite a few planes each day on these routes.

Do SA release seats closer to departure?
