You can route through IAD and SFO/LAX going both ways for $10 more, or really stretch it and do LAS-SFO/LAX-SAN-IAD-BOS on the return for $15 more. That clears 14K EQM.
Fares a little higher to LAS from PVD, but can follow a similar route to SAN for the $257 several days in December.
