Hi

Does anyone know why this would happen? Our flight is next week, and First, PE and Economy and available (although Y does sporadically become unavailable). Flight is QF 31 SIN-LHR (A380).

Last time when I could check over a week ago the cabin was almost completely allocated. Would be interested to hear if anyone knows why the J cabin suddenly can't be seen on ExpertFlyer.

Cheers:)

It either oversold or empty!

Have you had a look using www.checkmytrip.com ?

Yep, had a look at checkmytrip and it shows our seats as still the same ones we originally had allocated. The cabin was looking pretty full a couple of weeks ago so I guess it could be oversold.

This being the case, do you know what happens? We're joinging up with the flight from BNE, so I assume we'll be able to get our boarding passes at BNE for the SIN-LHR flight. But is there a chance we could be bumped off the flight? We have a third flight to connect to at LHR and being bumped would be bad news for us.

You are unlikely to be bumped. If all your flights are in the one booking then you should be able to get the BPs for all three segments at check-in at BNE.

(You may be able to get all BPs even if you have separate bookings; just ensure you bring all ticket documentation with you to check-in.)

Thanks for your advice. Checkmytrip shows the cabin as completely occupied which is not surprising. Perhaps Qantas are trying to contact single passengers to move them to a different flight??

Must be a money-making machine for Qantas with a full load in business and First almost full too.
