Star Alliance - Evening Flights from Europe to NYC

As a CO Platinum I have been used to flying AF/KL from AMS or CDG to NYC at around 7:00 p.m. so I can have a full day in Europe. It appears that the last *Alliance flight back is the 4:50 p.m. on LH from FRA.

Are there any later flights from any cities in Europe on *Alliance to NYC?

Why is *Alliance the only alliance that does not have late flights? This is a big problem for me.

Thank you. I realize that, but that is the VS codeshare (and really dislike LHR and VS if not flying C) and it is not truly a *A flight. Also it is from LHR and would prefer a flight from the continent. Any other options out there? Seems like a major gap in the *A schedule.

The main reason is because UA/US doesn't fly to Europe from NYC. If you look for flights to IAD/ORD/CLT/PHL, you will find. ST on the otther hand have a pretty big presence in NYC, hence the number of flights. The VS flight is pretty much your only option.
