bmi diamond club - US Metal/UA flight number can I credit to BMI?

So I have a US metal flight from PHL to SFO but it is booked as a UA codeshare. Can I still credit this to BMI? I usually like to credit all my US flights to BMI instead of UA as they don't count towards 2MM qualification and am trying to get to BMI *G.

Yes, you should be able to do this without a problem. The operating carrier's fare rules apply for earnings, but I think UA and US are pretty much the same in that respect.
