Marriott Rewards - San Juan Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort

Any recent info on this location? I am staying here in Nov before a 5 day oints stay at the Marriott downtown. I am a Platium Premier and wondered if it is worth anything at this lccation. Great rate for 2 weekend days as well. Any other info in the area within walking distance would be great - never stayed in this area before - allways downtown. Thanks in advance.

Haven’t stayed at the Courtyard, but to me the Isle Verde area has a much different feel than Condado. I would describe the area as more family-friendly with many more fast food, family, and chain restaurants than Condado and IMHO the beach is better as well. Also in the area are a couple of Walgreens, a supermarket, a few small strip plazas and several restaurants (of all types not just fast food/chain) within a few blocks west of the hotel.

there are a couple things to walk to....try metropol = great food. and there's a dennys or something,

we hated the place actually as the junior suite we were given was filthy, we waited over 4 hours for a room.....(they weren't busy...) and they shouted my entire name across the lobby (not Ms Megtravels, but HEY, MEGtravels Megtravels is staying here...)

the buffet lunch was repeated for dinner.....it's very noisy and we left without staying the night.....

things may have changed in the past couple years, but i will not stay there again.......

I have had mixed experiences with the Isla Verde Courtyard, sometimes it has been great, other times I wish that I had gone straight to the Marriott. Quite frankly, the facility is fine, although sometimes not as clean as I would like.

The Condado Marriott (aks the Stelaris Marriott) is a great hotel, nice staff with an excellent lounge staff.

The Sushi Bar and Teppenyaki Restraurant next to the hotel is excellent as are some of the other restaurants in the area.
