What is the future with this route? I have heard things such as a big time aircraft upgrade to the route to being pulled all together...I personally think it should be kept as it gives Star Alliance members an opportunity to try SQ w/o flying to SIN. I am actually flying this route in Business in Mid June myself and am hoping it stays afloat at least but would love an aircraft upgraded of the A380 or 777.

i flew that route once too. the only problem is that it arrives a little too late in the morning into FRA to catch connecting europe or middle east flights vers. luftanza which arrives early in the morning

As nice as it is to fly SQ JFK-FRA, I doubt they will maintain the route for the sole reason that it gives *A members an opportunity to fly them! The route needs to pay the bills as well!

That said, I don't see the route going anywhere.

This is a popular route from SIN-JFK. Many of the guys in my company would choose to fly this route if possible. i have not been on this route though.

It is a very nice route.. Too bad the 744s are going away.. Slightly longer than flying west, but it is certainly fun.. Not to mention the great F sleeping experience.

This route seems always jam-packed, maybe also because of its 'redemption' availability and price are favored by many. I wonder what will happen when the 77W or A388 takes hold of this route.. (I predict many bad things will happen, not to mention missing the old F seat experience)

This route seems always jam-packed,

I took this flight on the FRA-JFK about three times. It was pretty empty (two times had 4 seats to myself).
I am not the kind of person, who only flies during summer and christmas break, but I usually fly during the mid-week.
