Dunno if this one has been mentioned. Available Dec 11-12. You might have to stay overnight at SEA.
Good for Canadians (like me) driving down from Toronto.
6998 miles => 3.47 cpm

Welcome to FT!
This is a decent fare for Canadians but this appears to be also the "non-sale" lowest available fare generally. Certain segments of your suggested itin appear to be on US.

Normally if you try a little bit harder with routings you can find something at around same cpm and no code shares (though RJs if you travel through IAD). Availability will depend on day (best on weekdays not surprisingly) and it might be a bit late to look for cleverly routed weekends. If you have open weekdays you can most certainly find an all UA itin at the same cpm.

Yep, you're both right. Sorry, I thought you could score miles with US flights on UA. I'm putting them on my Asiana club account (aiming for *G).
Thank you.

You can, but no DEQM.

Not only no DEQM (for the UA program) on US segments, but also no E+ or upgrades. On a transcon such as CLT-SFO or SFO-PHL, that will be pretty uncomfortable.
And overnight stays can add considerably to the cost. You really have to look at the total cost, not just the cost of the flight itself, at least if this is a "pure" mileage run. @:-)
why fly

BUF- SFO or LAX is often $220 ai on UA, not as many hops as you have just shown but all on UA metal ;)

Thanks everyone!
why fly, can't seem to find a date for the next few months with that low of a price anymore on QPX.
I also wrote up a basic outline of how and why I'm going on a mileage run here in simple language for the uninitiated: http://bit.ly/30BE1O
Hi anopenscroll,
Welcome to FlyerTalk!
I've just made your latest post on your thread visible; it was not visible because the foru software had noticed you are a new poster, adding links into your post (which is a common spammer practice).
You might get this kind of filtering happening for your first few posts, so if you find that they are not being published, simply hit the 'Report Bad Post' button which looks like a "!" inside a triangular road sign and report the post as being hidden.
Just a note about the link itself: it might be better to show the full URL considering you're a new FT member, so that other members can see it's just a WordPress blog page, rather than some kind of malware/affiliate/naughty trap! :)
I had a quick look at your page and this article, 'I’m going to fly 40,000 miles in two years (http://www.anopenscroll.com/wordpress/?p=167)'.
If you use the 'Go Advanced' version of the FT page for posting, there's a link icon, looking like a chain llink in front of a globe; that's the link button, for adding URL links, which I used to link to your blog entry above.
I'll move this one to Mileage Run Discussion, as it's a great discussion topic, in terms of finding other routings and avoiding codeshares.
Cheers,

anopenscroll, I've replied to your blog topic which you linked.
In addition to mileage accrual for your target, *Gold, people near year-end are often seeking 'segment runs'.
This UA segment run would be a popular topic in the UA forum; it's something else for you to consider in future:
