Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Time for Delta flights to post - any effects from Worldperks/Skymiles merger

My wife (Mileage Plan member) and I flew Delta flights to Costa Rica in early-October. Her MP# was clearly posted on each ticket...however, almost 4 weeks later, no posting to her account. I faxed the boarding passes and receipt to MP...and still no credit.

Have any MP members had significant delays with NW or DL flights posting as a result of the Worldperks/Skymiles merger? Not sure if this would even affect the credit of miles.

Only reason I am concerned is that this ~7K miles will put her past MVP and she has a couple AS flights coming up booked in Y (immediate upgrade).

Wirelessly posted (beckoa's PWP wonderous poster: BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.297 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

How long ago did you fax it in? It took about two weeks for a MW flight to post when I mailed it in last month... They may be kinda busy due to the DLNW merger screwing things up for earning miles...

Perhaps... I have a flight on NW tomorrow, and I will let you know how things turn out for me. Hopefully, my miles will post before the Sunday sweep. :D

If the miles don't post by Sunday, I'll fax the tickets/receipts again. I figured 2 weeks would be sufficient.

You could also call Customer Care and see if they know what is going on ;)

My DL flights usually post within a week or two, but somtimes there are problems. It can take a couple of weeks for MP to post these flights after faxing in receipts/boarding passes.

I flew BOS-ATL on Delta Friday 10/23. Its one of the newer flight numbers that is not yet updated on the eligible flight number list. The points posted yesterday. So less than a week for me.

My mainline flights on NW finally posted yesterday but those on Pinnicle MEM-MOB outbound on 19 Oct and return on 22 Oct have still not posted.

But what really has me concerned is the QX flight SEA-PSC also on the 22nd hasn't posted. Most strange.

Anyway having this length of a delay for QX flights?

Called Mileage Plus and the agent added the final two legs.

Fixed it for ye' :p
[Mileage Minus is part of UA's shrinking empire]

Glad it was straightened out!

I flew Sept 27 on NW and it took over 3 weeks to post, even with the MP number in the system and faxing everything to MP as a backup. Seemed like forever to wait.

I wasn't aware that UA and AS had entered into a partnership! :D

FWIW, it took almost 4 weeks for my miles from a rack of DL flights to post. See this similar thread from last week:
