Does anyone know if Marriott has certain requirements before allowing you to do a Platinum challenge? I'm currently only about halfway to silver (but plan on picking up the MR premier card). However, I will have quite a few Marriott stays in the future. I already have enough nights reserved in the next 60 days alone to complete the 18 night plat challenge.
I called to ask and was offered a silver challenge, which I naturally declined (I'll reach silver my next stay, and I didn't want to ruin my chances of doing a gold or plat challenge).
So, has anyone had experience with this coming from a lowly silver status?
