California - Honor mansion in Sonoma County - HELP!
I would love to stay at this inn (Honor mansion in Healdsburg, CA), but the prices for the weekend I am looking for start at 375/night. Is it worth it for an inn? Any promos I can take advantage of? This is my birthday weekend, so I would like to stay at a really nice place. 3 nights. Property looks great and heard fantastic reviews on the innkeepers...but price seems too steep...
I have very high standards when it comes to service (unfortunately got spoiled in many wonderfull travels we've done around the world), so I normally choose the best place to stay and coordinate all my travel plans around it (sounds crazy, I know!)....

We stayed at the Honor Mansion three years ago, and we had a wonderful stay there. I have since recommended it to friends that loved it as well.
I am very picky about hotels, and I rate the Honor Mansion' service up there with the best luxury hotels where we have stayed including Ritz Carltons and Four Seasons. The service is impeccable, the rooms lovely and the breakfasts to die for. I highly recommend this property.

You can get the tax waived on this rate that includes two massages and a few other things:

They told me massages were extra, when I called (even with the tax relief package)....

They've obviously marked it up so you are paying for the massages, since the highest room is $600 but the highest package for three nights is over $2000.
If they allow you to book without the massage and still save the tax, it's probably about a 12 or 13 percent savings, which would be $125 or so over three nights on the $375 room.
