Hyatt Gold Passport - Any chance of an upgrade when on award stay In Goa?

Got an award stay in Goa for the new-years period and I was wondering, is there any chance of getting an upgrade to a higher room when on this award stay?

I am Diamond .5 mil points member, but not sure if there is any way.

You can choose to book suite or Regency/Grand Club room award if you have sufficient points. It is not possible to do it online but you can call GP CS for same.

Can't address your question exactly, but I can tell you that I just finished a stay here and the hotel seemed to treat elites very well.

I am only Platinum and recieved a bottle of wine and a decent upgrade from a base room. My colleague is also Platinum and received a rather large suite - however that was helped by the fact that the property was allegedly sold out.

I should probably put this in the general thread, however if you have not been there, you should know that this property is rather far from the town of Goa. It is also rather far from the beach and extremely spread out. Other than that, I enjoyed my time there and would probably go back to the Hyatt.
