I'm sure it's of use to someone. Today's Inbox delight......

Are you travelling on bmi for business? If so did you know as well as Diamond Club, bmi have a loyalty product for your company, Company Rewards.

How does it work?

Each time a member of the company flies with bmi the company will earn points. And if they're a Diamond Club member they'll still receive all their Diamond Club benefits. So you'll earn double the rewards with bmi, for the individual with Diamond Club and for the company with Company Rewards.

With one point equal to £1 (when exchanging for bmi flight vouchers), Company Rewards is one of the most generous loyalty schemes around. Plus, companies spending over £50,000 per year will receive an annual 4% bonus.

Earn a free flight and £50

Enrol your company before 31 December 2009 and we'll give you 9,000 destinations miles, that's enough for a free flight from the UK to Dublin, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and more*. Plus as an extra reward, when a member of the company flies with bmi before the end of the year, we'll credit the company account with 50 bonus points, which is £50 off your next bmi flight.

NB: It would seem that these emails are definitely targeted; in that the link strings in the emails are individual and there are at least three variations of the pre-filled promo code on the landing page.

Well, I just joined my lot up. Clicking the link populated a promotional code field - hopefully this will be linked to my DC account, otherwise they won't know how to credit the bonus miles...

Interestingly, the 4% cashback threashold is considerably lower for companies based in Ireland, rather than the UK - just €10k instead of £50k.

Also, one point is valued at €1.50, which is of course, quite generous. However, Quidco returns 4.5% on all volumes - not just those over €10k...

I somehow feel a cheater for enrolling my company in this program, with the full knowledge that the chances of anyone outside me in my company ever taking a BMI flight is close to zero, mainly because my company does no business in the UK. Actually, my country is hardly flown to by BMI, which kind of limit the chance of BMI ever getting business from this promo... This offer is strangely targetted... I can understand this offer to Ireland-based members, but to anyone ?

So if Quidco pay you 4.5%, and BMI reimburse 4%, plus you earn DC miles on the flight (+55k bonus) and pay for it with a BMI Amex... how long is it before BMI are actually paying you to fly?

I doubt very much that you can double-dip quidco with company rewards.

Joined my small outfit up - it made me login when I typed my email in, so guess that's how they'll tie me and my 9000 miles up.

Now, when will they credit......

that's enough for a free flight from the UK to Dublin, Edinburgh, Amsterdam

I may have been out of the country for a few days, but i'd no idea Alex Salmond had got his way:rolleyes:

Just signed my lot up as well. Might actually get some use out of it as a couple of my colleagues are planning a business trip to TBS :) Amazingly I still can't convince anyone here to join DC!
