Hyatt Gold Passport - Any chance of moving pre paid reservation because of winter storm

I have a reservation for the Hyatt place in Denver Tech center. There is a winter storm warning 10-18 inches of snow and strong winds to make visibility and drifts a problem. Is there any chance that hyatt will let me change the date of a pre-made pre paid reservation because of the major winter storm?

I don't mean to come across as rude, but why don't you ask them? Clearly they know there's a weather issue so they may be willing to work with you. FWIW, I was able to get an adjustment on a pre paid room when the price decreased, so they have the ability to modify the reservations.

The Hyatt Lake Tahoe has done this for me in the past, for exactly that reason; as Darren suggests, try calling (Denver's res desk directly). I've found that properties in general are willing to be flexible when it comes to some things beyond your (and their) control, and you ask nicely enough. Having status probably also helps (a frequent stayer likely will be back sooner or later, so being flexible would encourage loyalty). Of course, always remember rules are rules, so they don't have to; be appropriately grateful if they do. ;)

Hyatt has been quite accomodating is changing the dates of pre-paid reservations especially in circumstances like these which are beyond your control. Its very helpful if you have alternate date(s) in mind since they have to "move" your reservation to a particular date (not leave it hanging "nowhere"). Bear in mind though that if this was a "special" rate that is tied to some time period, they may insist that you stay within the time period of the promotion.

FWIW, most of the hotel chains waive cancellation penalties if you "can't get there" due to weather or airline cancellations. I don't know about pre-paid reservations since I very rarely use them.
