I was wondering what people who have stayed at either of the Pittsburgh Hyatts by the airport think about them. Thanks

In the Property Index / Review sticky is this thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt-gold-passport/134185-pittsburgh-airport-hyatt-review-master-thread.html on the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Airport - I stayed there once last year on a diversion and found it to be a very nice airport hotel but obviously nothing really spectacular.

There is no review of the Hyatt Place but I would think that its the typical Hyatt Place - fairly recently (within the last 2 years) focusing on the large TV with a fairly large room with a sleeping area and sitting area. Downside of these properties are usually the small and somewhat downscale bathroom and noisy through the wall HVAC.

I stayed in both and agree with peteropny's comments. I don't have any other HP experience, so don't know if the Pittsburgh layout is typical, but found the layout awkward and the bathroom miniscule. It was also hard to find (or maybe that was just Hertz Neverlost doing its thing).
The HR is actually attached to the airport, which made it very convenient for me, as I was able to go over early and get my name on the standby list for a flight I wanted, and when I did not get on it, I was able to go back to bed, but I'd hope you would not have the same problem!
