Can't seem to purchase Rewards Tickets OR search the seat finder. Anyone else having problems with the website?

It appears that Southwest has disabled RR ticketing in order to better handle the crush of people booking the sale fares. Update: I was able to get in after multiple tries, so this is just an overload.

I did a search for an award early this morning with no problem. I suggest trying again late in the evening or very early in the morning.

I didn't expect this degree of congestion for online ticketing. It must be the $25 magic number. Southwest's 25th anniversary offer was $25 fares systemwide, with limited inventory. The phone lines and ticket counters were completely crushed.

I wonder whether the recent changes to the reservation pages exacerbated this overloading. I'm guessing yes.

And I "lost" $25 worth of TTF when I re-priced a $60.60 booking and it turned to $35.60. Very strange as all my other TTF's were not "lost."

Had to resort to calling customer service (not unlike Tom Cruise in 'Vanilla Sky') who called back within 15 mins and promptly "found" the "lost" $25. ^

More trouble today with award bookings. (Did I miss the news of another $25 sale? ;)) First attempt earlier worked fine; a few minutes ago the scheduled maintenance message came up repeatedly. After seeing that message 4 to 5 times, when it finally stopped I received: #100263-1545, "Sorry, we were unable to retrieve your Rapid Rewards Ticketless Awards from our database."

first got the message couldn't price your ticket then the database message but after aan hours was able to book.

is it me or has the web site been a mess for a few weeks, i tried a few weeks ago to book 3 flights and it took 45 minutes kept getting thrown out that my log-in expired

what should have been a 10 min exersise turned into a 45 min ordeal, may should take my buisness elsewhere if this keeps up

Phone calls to Customer Service are still free.

...although I do share the sentiment that although the old website was a little short on glitz, it more than made up for it with sleekness and speed.

placed a call was told by the automated voice it would be a 20-30 min wait

so lets see a 20-30 min wait for a phone call or 30-45 min trying to book a ticket online

not very efficient either way
