Qantas Frequent Flyer - No longer can view seatmap/change seats on qantas.com - what is up?

Until today I have been able to press the select seats button at the bottom right of the screen (view bookings on qantas.com) and view and change seat bookings on qantas flights. Very helpful. :D

Today that button is missing (in all reservations) :td: and replaced by some not as helpful offers on selling tours and flying carbon neutral.

Has that good feature been 'enhanced' or is it hiding somewhere else?

Probably a glitch as a result of adding the "Options" offers. The function was not available on any of my bookings this morning but I could select seats after I'd OLCedI for tomorrow's flight.

Hmm I can't find it now either. :confused:

Somehow I think this might be linked to the introduction of online booking of exit row seats which is touted as being introduced in "late 2009"

Update: Bingo - now have a "Select Seats" button in the booking which gives the option of "Select Seats from 7 days until 3 hours before scheduled departure"

SELECT SEATS is working just the same as it was working last night for an upcoming International flight (4 weeks away). Its just that the placement of features on the "ÿour bookings" page has been shifted.

Seems to be back (fixed?) now.....Strange.....Maybe QF are playing let's remove a random feature and see who notices.....

Several changes - one major one is I appear to be able to select seats on AA flights with the bookings!

(Not as good as the ones AA.com offers me for the same flights)

Well, it's new to me - I had a QFF award booking on AA flights (only) where I was not offered the ability to slect seats on Qantas.com (AA.com worked fine).

Well, it's new to me - I had a QFF award booking on AA flights (only) where I was not offered the ability to slect seats on Qantas.com (AA.com worked fine).I had an LONE4 booked through the online tool and ticketed by AA. The sectors that Amadeus could see appeared on qantas.com. When I clicked select seats, each sector popped up with either the seat map or the Window/Aisle preferance.
Once a selection had been made for all the sectors, it posted the Amadeus sectors (BA/QF) and said the non Amadeus sectors (AA/JL) couldn't be accepted.

Well, last week the same booking had seat maps for BA and QF flights but window/aisle preferences for the AA, IB and JL flights.

Today I get seat maps for each of these.
